About Us

“It’s about you: your style, your personality – and your special day,” says owner
Lana Grant of Adesso Bella. “I want to make your dreams come true with an elegant bridal gown that reflects you and your lifestyle.  But I also want to give you the very best silks and lace, a feeling of comfort, and the knowledge that your dress is a great value.”

Lana brings over 25 years of experience in making a bride look her best. She knows how to create a dress that you’ll feel good about -- one you can wear with pride and security throughout your ceremony and the reception, which is why Adesso pays so much attention to the construction of the gowns.

“I always say to my brides that their dress must be comfortable,” says Lana.  “Personally, I love slim and sexy gowns – but every bride is different. We have very traditional dresses as well as modern and sophisticated designs in our collections.”

The Adesso Bella Gowns is filled with simple, yet elegant silk creations accentuated by careful use of lace, beads, and embroidery.  The silk fabrics and lace Lana uses in her designs come from Europe.

After earning degrees in art, Lana attended the Fashion Institute in Moscow, where she learned the finest European techniques in gown construction. After graduating, she started  out as a sportswear designer but became enamored with couture gowns.

Lana moved to Los Angeles in 1991, where she continued to work in couture, creating theatrical costumes for many Las Vegas shows and entertainers, including Madonna, Sheena Easton, Gloria Gainer, Donna Summer, and others. She enhanced her fashion education in California Design College where she received Award for outstanding Design for her graduation project in 1995.

In 2002, Lana introduced her first bridal collection, which was wonderfully received.  In 2003 Southern Bride Magazine awarded her with Rising Star Award.
